hnn_core.viz.plot_cells(net, ax=None, show=True, colors=None, markers=None)[source]#

Plot the cells using Network.pos_dict.

Parameters:

netinstance of Network: The Network object.
axinstance of matplotlib Axes3D | None: An axis object from matplotlib. If None, a new figure is created.
showbool: If True, show the figure.
colorsdict | None: Dictionary mapping cell type names to colors. If None, colors are assigned automatically from the Network’s cell metadata if they exist, else they are taken from the default Matplotlib color cycle.
markersdict | None: Dictionary mapping cell type names to markers. If None, markers are assigned based on morpho_type in cell metadata: 'pyramidal' -> '^', 'basket' -> 'x', 'interneuron' -> 'o'. Unknown morpho types get the first unused marker from the pool.
